Hi, I’m Ellin!

I moved to Finland from Canada in 2023 after falling in love with a Finnish man and Finland’s abundant nature.

I created this site to practice writing in Finnish, document my progress, and share what I’ve learned along the way. My goal is to one day become conversational in Finnish and pass the intermediate YKI test.

Currently, I am around level A2.2.
